Using your e-cigarette and e-liquids safely
Yorkshire Smokefree Wakefield E-cigarette waiver
Yorkshire Smokefree Wakefield is happy to be able to offer e-cigarettes and vaping products in the knowledge that, whilst they are not risk free, vaping is far less harmful than smoking tobacco. There is not enough evidence to know whether there are long-term harms from e‑cigarette use, but we know that any smoking is harmful, so people using e-cigarettes should stop smoking tobacco completely. If you have a medical condition such as heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, emphysema, or asthma (or other medical condition), you may wish to seek medical advice before you start using the e-cigarette.
E-cigarettes and vaping products are regulated by the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations (2016) but are not licensed as medicines. Yorkshire Smokefree Wakefield does not take responsibility for any adverse effects or product liability issues in the unlikely event that anything should occur.
If you believe you have had an adverse reaction to vaping, you can report this to the medicines and healthcare products regulatory agency via their Yellow Card scheme at yellowcard.mhra.gov.uk. Totally Wicked takes full responsibility for all its products. Contact them through their website, www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk, by phone on 01254 692244, or by email at info@totallywicked.co.uk.
