Roxanne

Roxanne's main reason for accessing the Yorkshire Smokefree service was that her 2 year old daughter had mimicked her smoking one night at her bedtime.

She was very sceptical about whether she would achieve 4 weeks smokefree. Roxanne used Champix to help her quit, she found this worked very well as she has never quit before.

The motivation to quit for her daughter has helped her to quit and stay smokefree.

Since quitting, Roxanne's health has improved by her breathing better and having more energy. She feels a lot more confident about herself and feels she can now do anything when she puts her mind to it.

Roxanne admitted that the current lockdown didn't have an effect on her quitting, she found accessing the service via the Telephone very helpful and that her advisor Lorraine explained the products and side effects of quitting.
