Mary

Mary came to the service, having been in hospital and diagnosed with cancer. She was terrified in the hospital and was determined to quit smoking. She has stayed smoke-free throughout her stop-smoking journey and says quitting is the best thing she has done at 81 years old!

She says her breathing and circulation has improved. Mary says going into the stop smoking clinic to do her Carbon Monoxide reading test made her more determined and motivated than ever never to smoke again.

“I could have jumped in the air when I got my CO reading test result. I am over the moon to have stopped smoking and very appreciative of the help I have."
