Hi, my name is Ian and my story is as follows.

I am 41 in march and I have smoked since I was 11, but on the 14th of January 2023 I stopped buying tobacco for good.

The reason for this was to help my partner stop as her breathing was getting worse. I did not realise it at the time but my own breathing had declined I only noticed after about a week that I could do more activities without getting out of breath. My taste buds increased and so did what I could smell.

I started on the Nicorette clear patch and used the Nicorette cools lozenges, which are very palatable on the tongue. A lot better than anything else I’ve tried in the past.

There has been a couple of times when it has been hard, as the cravings were strong and thought I was going to cave in but instead of reaching for a cigarette I just popped in a lozenge and once that finished I had another straight after. I am 39 days clean and I feel ready to drop the dosage on the patches.

It’s the best decision I have ever made cause I feel better in myself, my home smells fresh, and I have saved just short of £300.

Happy days.
