Lousy weather and long days making me tempted……

When initially speaking with my advisor, I had been quit for almost three weeks, and it was getting more complicated instead of easier!

The problem is I know I've got three cigarettes in the house that I'm not ready to throw away. Anyway, at one of my appointments, we devised a plan to keep them in the house but well out of reach. It's a simple idea, but it worked for me. They're still in the house, but I've ensured it's not easy to smoke them because I've taped the packet shut!

To open the packet, I will have to be desperate, and if that's the case, I'm done either way - I know I won't be able to stop at just 3, that's for sure.

I have no intention of ever smoking again, but I get that urge to light up occasionally. I can't seem to remove these three cigarettes from the house as they're like a security blanket. Since I taped them up, I've been less tempted, and even if I wanted to, I can't see myself opening that box with the amount of tape I've used!

I am approaching week five and feel I'm moving away from those uncomfortable urges. All I need now is for the weather to change, and I'll be back out, keeping myself active and distracted.
